About

The Medical Centre was opened in 1988 and has had significant extensions/improvements to the original structure in the past years. Most of the surrounding villages were built around the mining industry, although many of the mines have now closed. The surgery serves a semi-rural population from all social classes in Dunsville, Hatfield, Dunscroft, Stainforth, Hatfield Woodhouse, Edenthorpe, with some areas of Thorne, Barnby Dun, Armthorpe, Kirk Sandall and Lindholme.
