About

The Medical Centre was opened in 1988 and has had significant extensions/improvements to the original structure in the past years. Most of the surrounding villages were built around the mining industry, although many of the mines have now closed.The surgery serves a semi-rural population from all social classes in Dunsville, Hatfield, Dunscroft, Stainforth, Hatfield Woodhouse, Edenthorpe, with some areas of Thorne, Barnby Dun, Armthorpe, Kirk Sandall and Lindholme.
